Installation Methods of Conveyor Roller

1. Inside Spring Installation Method

Spring shaft installation method easy to install and remove. The frame is connected by tie rods to increase strength. Note that the installation size of the roller and the inner size of the machine frame have a margin of 1mm. In order to make the rollers have enough space for easy installation, the hole groove is generally about 0.5mm-1mm larger than the diameter of the shaft. It is not recommended to use inside spring installation method for sprocket roller, it will have unpredictable problems.

2. Insize Screw Installation Method

The roller is connected to the frame through bolts, eliminating the configuration of the rod of the frame and making the whole machine more stable. The shaft length (L) is one of the most important dimensions in this type of installation. It determines the inner width of the frame, which is generally slightly smaller than the design value of the inner width of the frame (0-1mm). There are different internal thread specifications for the shaft cores with different diameters.

3. Flat Tenon Installation Method

This installation method is mostly used in mine idler. Convenient installation method, the frame is punched with a corresponding hole slot, and the roller is simply put into the hole slot. The removal is only needed to remove the roller directly in the hole slotThis type of installation is the easiest way to install.

4. Shaft with Hole Installation Method

The shaft and the roller are not fixed. After the roller is installed in the frame, it is necessary to insert a cotter pin in the hole of the shaft pin to fix it. Pay attention to the installation size of the roller and the internal file size of the frame. In order to make the roller enough space for easy installation, in general, the small hole slot is about 0.5-1mm larger than the diameter of the shaft.
