S.S. Roller/Stainless Steel Cylinder We deliver high-quality industrial rollers only
Stainless steel is also known as inox steel, and S.S. roller is widely used in seawater treatment, chemical processing, paper-making, food and beverage, pharmaceutical and other industries etc. Stainless steels are most notable for their corrosion resistance, and there are numerous grades of stainless steel with varying chromium and molybdenum contents to suit the environment the alloy must endure. Resistance to corrosion and staining, low maintenance, and familiar luster make stainless steel an ideal material for many applications where both the strength of steel and corrosion resistance are required.
We could provide stainless steel rollers made out of Austenitic stainless steel such as 304L and 316L, Duplex stainless steel such as 2205, 904L, Super Austenitic-Steel – depends on where the roller is used.
Regular roller finish:Mill finish, pickled & passivated, Brushed finish and Bead blast finish etc.
Capacity:Max.800 mm in the diameter and 6,000 mm in the length.
Inspection:We will provide inspection report for every stainless steel roller.
Packaging:Well-designed packaging is also very important for precision s.s. rollers, otherwise rollers may be damaged in the loading/unloading process and transportation.
Regular diameter: 60, 76, 89, 114, 140, 168, 219, 273, 355mm etc. with thickness 2-5mm.
Disadvantage: roundness and straightness are not so good
Such kind of stainless steel roller is suitable for chemical industry where they have no critical needs for size accuracy.
By Seamless pipe
Advantage: easy to buy and the accuracy could be very high after fine machining
Disadvantage: machining cost is high and material cost is also higher due to utilization rate of stainless steel pipe
By Molded compound pipe
This kind of stainless steel roller is made out of two layers of metal sheet: 1.5-2.5mm thick steel sheet inside and 1.5-2.5mm stainless steel sheet outside. The compound pipe will be rounded by mold in order to get a qualified performance and then it will be polished to have a smooth and uniform surface.
Standard diameter: 100, 114, 125, 140, 150, 165, 180, 200mm
Advantage: cheap cost with higher quality (roundness and straightness) Disadvantage: less size choice of standard diameter
